So, here we have my new website carrying my artwork and other creative adventures directly into your parlour.
This is something I’ve wanted to collate for a while, so I hope you enjoy my wanton forays and series of work, which admittedly land in wide and varied palettes, but always following a narrative theme…of some nature anyhow.
I have an extensive collection of Jazz art that bounces through the genre with a colourful flourish but then some have a real attack on the senses; everything I think a good ole Jazz series requires. Just enjoy a peruse through these as I’m pretty pleased with the outcome, I’m always experimenting with oil paints and my current landscapes are showing top skills, telling their stories with a heavy virtuous edge of poetry and drama- both perfect reasons to splash the canvas in my opinion. Watch this space for further additions to this range.
You will also see that I have 2 sculptures in the range; one of Nina Simone, in sandstone and one of John Lennon in white marble; both are limited editions, insofar as any prospective buyer can have the totally unique opportunity to pick their desired stone, marble, quartz to suit their creative needs.
This is unique to me and well worth giving them some extra thought.
I have an upcoming foray to Paris in the diary, to celebrate a landmark birthday and I’ll be armed to the teeth with both camera and sketchpad…I’ve always been a Francophile but never have I visited Paris on a leisure/pleasure trip, so watch this space for some unique Parisian art with a narrative.
Most of the trip will be spent in galleries, of which there are many but there will be a wee gastronomic edge to this trip interspersed with coffee on the terrace and dingy jazz club late nights- cant wait!!
